Qobuz is available on many devices and adapts to all uses, from on-the-go listening on your smartphone to playback on a Hi-Fi system.

On which devices can I listen to Qobuz?

The Qobuz app is available on:

  • Smartphone and tablet: iOS (iPhone, iPad) and Android

  • Computer: Mac and Windows, via the desktop app or web player

  • Television: Samsung Smart TV, and Android TV

  • In the car: Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Android Automotive

How can I listen to Qobuz on my Hi-Fi system or connected speakers?

Several options are available depending on your equipment:

Qobuz Connect — the recommended solution for optimal quality. Qobuz Connect allows you to control your compatible audio device directly from the Qobuz app, without going through another app. Music is sent directly from Qobuz servers to your device, in Hi-Res up to 24-bit / 192 kHz.

To use it: make sure your audio device is on the same Wi-Fi network as your phone or computer, play a track in the Qobuz app, then tap the "Audio output selector" icon to choose your device.

Important: For it to work, your device must be compatible with the Qobuz Connect feature. Find the list of compatible brands at this link. Note that compatibility may also vary at the product level.

AirPlay (iOS/macOS) — compatible with many connected speakers and amplifiers. Quality is limited to CD resolution (16-bit / 44.1 kHz).

Google Chromecast — compatible with Google Cast devices. Quality is limited to CD resolution (24-bit / 96 kHz).

Manufacturer's app — some brands (Sonos, Bluesound, Yamaha) natively integrate Qobuz via their app. You can then access your Qobuz library directly from their app, in Hi-Res.

Can I listen to Qobuz offline?

Yes. With a Studio or Sublime subscription, you can download tracks, albums and playlists in the app to listen without an internet connection.

How can I listen to Qobuz on my television?

Qobuz is natively available on Samsung Smart TVs and Android TV / Google TV devices (Sony, TCL, Hisense…). Simply download the app from your TV's Google Play Store, then sign in to your account. The interface has been optimised for large-screen navigation.

How can I listen to Qobuz in the car?

Apple CarPlay — simply connect your iPhone to your vehicle's screen to access your library, playlists and editorial recommendations.

Android Auto — Connect your Android smartphone directly to your vehicle.

Android Automotive — Install the Qobuz Automotive app on your vehicle from a store.

You can also use voice commands to control playback.

I'm experiencing a playback issue. What should I do?

  • Check your internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data).

  • Make sure the app is up to date.

  • Try logging out and then logging back into your account.
